About the Line Cook Position:

Leon’s Garage in Marysville is excited to welcome a new line cook to our awesome team! Qualified candidates will be experienced as a line cook or pizza cook, have night and weekend availability, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and be focused on teamwork in the kitchen and preparing our beloved recipes consistently and safely.

The line cook will prepare meals and pizzas following our recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced fun environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Line Cook:

• Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.

• Expedites orders in a timely manner.

• Practices excellent operational sanitation.

• Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.

• Helps reduce loss/waste.

• Communicates equipment repair needs with Kitchen Manager.

• Actively participates in training efforts and attends staff meetings.

• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

• Checks and dates all deliveries received and report any variances to Kitchen Manager.

• Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis.

• Is ready to do what’s needed for the BOH team to be successful.

• Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product and as directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications for the LineCook:

• Previous experience as a line cook or pizza cook

• ServSafe Certification

• Night and weekend Availability


About the role of Floor Manager

Responsibilities of the role 

  • Supervise team

  • Train and motivate your team to perform their allocated duties

  • Manage FOH inventory

  • Assist Customers with any queries or requests

  • Execute closing procedures with your team, leading by example

  • Handle reservations on Toast Tables.

  • Check tables, and make customer touch points

  • Assist your team as needed

Skills & Traits of a successful candidate

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Extrovert.

  • Prior experience with sales.

  • Highly organized.

  • Self Motivated, able to create tasks needed for a successful day.

Requirements.  

  • Part-time weekend availability

  • 4PM to midnight shifts
